If you ask me which country was the most interesting for me to travel to, I would answer: NORTH KOREA
The journey by train from Beijing to Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, takes 27 hours. There I was warmly welcomed by KIM, my tour guide. She won't leave my side for the next 10 days. Despite everything, I was able to collect a few impressions of the country that were worth seeing. We had the opportunity to visit the inner-Korean border.
A plane chartered especially for us also took us to the industrial city of Hamhung, where we visited a fertilizer factory.
Back in Pyongyang there were still a number of museums, memorials and social institutions to visit. The highlight was certainly the evening at the State Circus!
The best artists in the world are there.
A little later I visited the country again and was amazed at how much has changed in a short time under the new ruler. This lecture is unique in Germany! It's worth it.
Come with us to the land of smiles. Burma is the pearl of Southeast Asia, still largely untouched by mass tourism. observe the traditional life of the people. The country is characterized by its many gold-decorated pagodas and their monks who parade through the streets every day. The highlight of every Burma trip is certainly Bagan with its over 2000 temples. But a trip across Inle Lake also lets you immerse yourself deeply in the way of life of the Burmese. We watch the one-legged fishermen at work. The lecture has many other impressions to offer, let yourself be surprised.
A dream comes true! Travel America from north to south. Who wouldn't want to do that...
We start our expedition at the Arctic Ocean in Alaska and then cross the Rocky Mountains. It continues winding along the west coast of the USA towards Mexico. There we visit the Maya archaeological sites before chartering a boat in Panama. We finally reach South America with a sailing trip.
The handlebars point south. It goes along the Andes ridge towards Tierra del Fuego. After over 50,000 kilometers we reach the end of our journey, Ushuaia, the southernmost point of the Pan-American Highway.
